Tripolymer Injection Foam

October 4th, 2009 by admin No comments »

Until now it has been nearly impossible to inject foam insulation into an existing structure. Using our innovative process we can do this quickly and economically without the noxious formaldehyde present in other insulating products. All of the work is done outside so we don’t need to drill holes in your interior walls and we can avoid major reconstruction that was once necessary.

See for yourself! The video below will show you how this new method of insulating existing structures can bring your home up to date. When you’re finished watching this video you will see why Tripolymer injection foam is the best way to insulate your home.

This new method of insulating existing structures can be used to bring your home up to date with the latest technology in injection foam application. Until now it has been nearly impossible to inject foam insulation into an existing structure such as a home or a business. Now, with our innovative process we can do this quickly and economically and without the noxious formaldehyde present in other products.
All work is done outside the home so you won’t have damaged walls or rugs and floors to replace.

Quick – Clean – Economical.

Now you can install this fabulous product in your home without the major reconstruction that was once necessary. In addition you will receive all the benefits available in new construction without the noxious formaldehyde found in lesser products.

If you are a homeowner, now is the time to have Trypolymer® injection foam insulation installed in your home. There will never be a better time than now. Let’s face it, energy costs are not going to decrease significantly in the foreseeable future. With natural gas and heating oil prices at all time highs it is important to use it sparingly to hold costs to a manageable level during the long winter nights.

The cost of fuel is also reflected in the cost of electrical energy and this, in turn, is raising the cost of summertime cooling. Again, efficiency is key in making the best use of this increasingly valuable resource.

Proper insulation in your home is no longer a luxury. It is becoming more of a necessity everyday. Trypolymer® foam insulation increases the value of your home and makes it more comfortable at less cost year-round. Installation of Tripolymer® foam doesn’t require major reconstruction. There is no danger to walls or floors because Tripolymer® foam is injected into the walls from the outside of your home regardless of structure type.

Now, before the skyrocketing cost of energy reverberates through the rest of the economy, is the time to take steps to minimize the effect on your wallet. Tripolymer® injection foam insulation is quickly and easily installed at a price that is very economical today and will remain a bargain regardless of inflation but the price can only go up as time goes on. The earlier you act the better the savings and the sooner you start living more comfortably, summer and winter.

Tripolymer Foam

What is Tripolymer?
Tripolymer foam insulation is a hybrid belonging to one of the oldest groups of synthetically produced thermosetting plastics.  Phenolics, as they are referred to, were first synthesized in 1907 in the form of Bakelite.  Today, phenolic plastics are well known for their durability, structural integrity, and extraordinary fire resistance.  Phenolic plastics are used in electronics, automobiles, machine parts, fire-proof coatings, adhesives, tools, and thousands of other commercial and household items.  When made into a foam insulation, phenolics are one of the safest and most efficient thermal and acoustical insulation products available.

Where can Tripolymer foam be used?
Practically any void that requires insulation can be filled with Tripolymer.
It is ideal for use in:
CMU block cores
Interior & Exterior wood and steel stud wall systems
Pre-cast concrete panels
Pipe chases
Filling property line voids between high-rise buildings
Refrigeration units
…And More!

Tripolymer is the best choice for new and existing residential home insulation

Tripolymer CMU / Block Fill Insulation

The Tripolymer system for masonry block core-fill is the most cost-effective way to increase the thermal performance of block construction. The total thermal resistance is more than doubled that of conventional block insulation products. Tripolymer block fill can be easily and efficiently installed in new or existing masonry construction, either during construction or upon completion by a pressure filling the cavity.

Tripolymer meets the mandatory requirements and codes for heat loss factor (U value) for wall structures adopted by many State and Federal Agencies. It is important to note that the heat loss is reduced through the mortar joints as well as the block. This is not the case with block inserts. Another plus is that Tripolymer is more cost-effective than core inserts or pour-in products.

Injection foam is also the perfect solution for brick veneer applications. Tripolymer can be injected between the brick veneer and cement blocks during construction. The application hose is dropped to the bottom of the cavity and withdrawn as the foam fills the cavity. As soon as the cavity is filled, it can be sealed. The foam reduces infiltration and fills all voids and cracks while easily flowing around all obstructions and is considerably less expensive than rigid types of insulation.

SPF Residential and Commercial Flat Roofs

The future of flat roofs is here today!

Spray foam roofing is the most cost effective & sustainable roof system available. It can be used in new construction and reroofing projects. Since foam roofs are spray applied they are self-flashing and sealing. The end result is a seamless, monolithic, waterproof roof. Since the base for the roof is spray foam insulation you get an R-value of approximately R-7.2 per inch. We spray between 1.5 inches and 3 inches of foam on the decking resulting in an R value of 10.8 – 21.6. If the foam is sprayed on more thickly there is a proportional improvement in R-value. Once the foam has been applied, a top coat gets sprayed over the roof to protect it from ultraviolet rays.

Once the new roof has been installed our product manufacturer will inspect the roof, take a core sample, test the sample, send you the test results, and issue a manufactures warranty.
With routine maintenance, spray foam roofs can last for the life of the building.

SPF roofing systems excel when the following conditions exist:
*High Energy Bills
*Slope must be added to provide positive drainage
*The roof substrate has numerous penetrations
*The roof deck is an unusual configuration
*Lightweight materials are required
There are severe temperatures
*The roof is in an area where high winds are likely to occur
Because of the energy saving characteristics and low maintenance costs of SPF roof systems, these roofs are suitable for residential home owners and organizations that pay their own energy and maintenance costs.

What is SPF Roofing?

Spray polyurethane foam (SPF) roofing consists of an application of 3 pound close cell spray foam covered with an elastomeric coating of Urethane, Silicone, or Polyurea. The coatings help protect the foam from ultraviolet rays. Specialized equipment mixes two liquid components at the spray gun that applies the SPF to a prepared substrate. The mixed liquid expands many times its original volume in a matter of seconds, forming a rigid foam plastic that chemically bonds to the surface to which it is sprayed. Spraying the foam in 1 1/2″to 3″ lifts allows the applicator to reach the desired thickness to fill in low areas, build up slopes, and provide insulation.

SPF has a closed cell structure that makes it water resistant. SPF roofing systems have good adhesion to a variety of substrates including metal, wood, concrete and built up roofing (BUR). Since SPF adds little weight to existing roof coverings and can build slope to fill in low areas, these systems are used frequently as a recover roofing system. Hail and wind driven missiles (such as tree limbs, broken roof tile, metal flashing, etc.) can damage the SPF roofing system. However, this type of damage typically does not cause leaks and can be repaired later without compromising the long-term performance of the system. While traditional roofing systems may perform well in non-critical areas, they tend to fail around penetrations, along seams and along the edges just a few years into their service life. Since foam roofs are spray-applied, they “fit” perfectly around all obstructions, usually resulting in drastically lower failure rates. Since SPF roofs are very light, they can most often be applied over existing roof surfaces without exceeding weight limits.

Spray Foam Roof Systems have many advantages over traditional roofing methods:

Energy Efficiency
Eco Energy Insulation Applicators’ roofing spray foam produces energy savings of 30% or greater when compared to the alternative roofing systems. With today’s rising fuel costs, the cost of the roof can be easily recovered a few years, simply through these energy savings alone!

Weather Resistant
Eco Energy Insulation Applicators’ roofing spray foam provides excellent weather resistant insulation, protecting the building from the dangers of humidity and extreme temperature conditions.

Thermal Insulation
Eco Energy Insulation Applicators’ roofing spray foam has the best insulating properties available for commercial construction today. Sprayed polyurethane foam has an R-value of 7.14 per 1 inch thickness, enabling it to provide more thermal resistance with less material than any other type of roofing insulation.

Waterproofing
Composed of billions of closed cells, Eco Energy Insulation Applicators’ roofing spray foam acts as an air barrier, preventing moisture infiltration into the building (the number one cause of building deterioration). Even when the top coat of a foam roofing system is damaged, the underlying foam will keep the roof from leaking. If a penetration does occur all the way through the foam layers, the water infiltration will be isolated only to the area where the membrane has been penetrated. Small penetrations in foam roofing systems can be repaired easily with an elastomeric caulk, reinstating the integrity of the system.

Seamless
Eco Energy Insulation Applicators’ roofing spray foam is sprayed onto the roof as a liquid and forms a single continuous seamless membrane that covers the entire roof. There are no seams or joints, the source of the majority of leaks in traditional roofs.

Flexible
Eco Energy Insulation Applicators’ roofing spray foam can be sprayed onto virtually any surface, including irregularly shaped roofs and protrusions that pose problems with other systems.

Self Flashing
Our roofing spray foam’s excellent adhesion allows it to be installed with almost no flashings; some roofers call the material “self-flashing”.  Regardless of age, or building use, it retains its density and compressive strength. SPF curb flashings solve a number of problems, including withstanding structural vibrations when applied to light-gauge metal roof curbs.

Versatility
Eco Energy Insulation Applicators’ roofing spray foam can be successfully applied to virtually every type of membrane roofing system available, including asphalt, coal tar, modified bitumen, and single-ply, in addition to metal panels.

Elimination of “Water-Ponding”
When applying the spray foam in re-roofing situations, it is very easy to build up areas of greater thickness while spraying. so that water will drain properly. This eliminates the problem of water-ponding and the additional weight load associated with water accumulation.

Sustainability
Eco Energy Insulation Applicators Spray Foamed roofs require a minimum of upkeep, creating little waste and have an indefinite lifespan.

Strong Adhesion and Wind Uplift Resistance
Eco Energy Insulation Applicators’ roofing spray foam prevents air leakage so that wind uplift resistance is increased dramatically.
